Singapore’s Most Exclusive Dinner Venue
What better way to mark a corporate event, acknowledge clients for their loyalty, or reward staff than with an elegant cocktail and dinner party aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express. Your guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner of innovative Euro-Asian cuisine aboard Asia’s most luxurious train and be entertained by the pianist in our Bar Car amid the legendary atmosphere of the “Orient-Express”.
The Eastern & Oriental Express can accommodate a maximum of 144 guests in two sittings, or up to 100 guests in one sitting, for an evening excursion.
For an exclusive 5-hour dinner charter, fares are calculated from a basic “Train Hire” cost of S$27,300 plus a supplement of S$160 per person for each guest. Fares are based on a minimum of 70 guests and a maximum of 144. The charter fare includes:
· Exclusive use of the E&O train, comprising two Restaurant Cars, the Bar Car, the Observation Car, the Saloon Car and Boutique, and a limited number of sleeping carriages
· 4 course table d’hote dinner with house wine, coffee or tea
· Specially printed menu bearing your logo or welcome message
· Pianist to perform in the Bar Car throughout the journey
· Full check-in service and assistance at the station on departure
· Train Manager and a full complement of E&O service staff
Other than coffee/tea, and the house wine served in the Dining Car with dinner, all drinks consumed in the Restaurants, Bar and Observation Cars are chargeable. This can be pre-paid on an open bar basis, charged to a master account, or paid directly by your guests.
A typical dinner journey would operate from Keppel Station. Check-in would open at 17:00 to allow boarding to begin at 18:00. The train would depart at 19:00 and the first dinner seating would commence immediately. The second dinner seating would be served at 21:15 and the train would return to Singapore at 23:30.
