*** BINTAN CONCIERGE SNIPPETS ***
Sometime you may get sand flies in
Bintan which are microscopic and not visible in the sand but can leave a nasty
irritation. The solution for sand fly bites is using oil:- sandflies are killed
(smothered) by the oil, so put it on top of your suntan lotion. Use normal
suntan OIL - generally they only come in very low factors, so don't forget to
put suntan lotion with a higher factor underneath. Also another tip to avoid
sandflies is stay off the beach after around 4pm (approx two-three hours from
sunset). They seem to respond to the temperature cooling.
